Question: Is any training required to use the website manager / Administrator?
Answer: Yes, you have the option of requesting an in house training for a minimal fee. We also provide you with comprehensive online manual desk. Our online Manual desk includes step by step documentation to help you along the way and to guide you. Most of the features are simple and easy to follow however, and can be used by anyone with little of no knowledge of computer. If for any reason you need help or have specific question, give us a call, email us, or create an online support ticket for help. Question: Can we upload our own graphics to put in articles? Answer: Yes, there is step by step instruction to guide you on our online manual. Question: Can we give only certain staff members the ability to add content to the site? And can they each have their own unique access to the manager? Question: What does 'Free Software Updates' mean? Answer: We are able to periodically update the addon software to support new features. You will receive all updates to your content management software for free! Question: Can I change the design of my website at a later date? Answer: Yes. If you want to update your site with a completely new layout, it will cost 50% of the current Design and Implementation fee at the time of request. All your content will automatically fit into the new design with our system. Question: What if I cant figure out how to do something with the website even after reading the manual? Answer: Please contact us and we can either show you how to do it through our live online support, or do it for you. Read More ... - FAQ Question: Can I upgrade to a different package?
Answer: Yes. Once you have made the request then we adjust your website to meet the specifications of that package and bill you the difference in the setup/design fee. Then we will adjust the monthly charge starting the following month. If you have paid for the year already then we will bill you the difference. Question: Are any refunds offered? Answer: If within 30 days you are not happy with your website you will be refunded the monthly (Maintenance) fee. If you decide to leave after the first 30 day period you will be refunded any of the unused monthly fees (if you paid annually). As for the Design and setup fee, that is not refundable after you have received your website. We will be working with you during the designing phase to make sure the site meets your expectations, so you will not receive a website until you are happy with it. You also have to keep in mind that we keep our costs low and there are people out there who may try to take advantage of us and may try to see how our content management system works before asking for a refund. We make every effort to ensure our customer's happiness and will work with you to make sure you understand the controls of how everything works. If you decide to pay for the whole year in advance, and decide to leave before the year is over, we WILL refund you the monthly payments (not the D&I fee) you did not use on a pro-rated basis. Answer: This is a one time only fee that covers: Customized website design Customized graphics for the website Setting up the content management system programming HTML/CSS codes for website Setting up your own server space and and database tables for website Programming of add-on specific site for your specific church needs Integration of pluggins into the content management system Question: Why are your costs lower than your competitors? Answer: We are a faith based business and we handle our business fairly. We are not profit driven like other companies who want to make as much money off of you as possible. It is a lot of work, but we do not take on more clients than we can deal with and we make sure our clients are happy with their websites. Read More ... Question: Do we have to host with you or can we use our current hosting company?
Answer: In order to have full control over the content management system and ensure that it works properly, you need to use our servers. This lets us easily troubleshoot any problems that may arise as well. It also enables us to add paid features you request, upgrade current features, and guarantee you that the system as a whole will work properly. Your monthly fee is also payment for the use of our custom addon to the content management system. If you were to host your site on a different web host, the add-ons would not be available for you to use. Question: We already have a domain name. Can we use the same domain with your company for our new church website? Answer: Yes. We will assist you in pointing the domain to our server and begin using it with our service. Question: We don't have a domain name. How do we get one? Answer: We will be glad to register the domain for you for $10 (that covers the cost of the domain name). Answer: No. If you paid for a full year and decide to leave you will get a refund for the unused portion. Question: How do we get started? Answer: Step One: Select the package that appeals to you the most, and fits your church's needs. If later on you realize that what you've selected is not what you wanted, you may always change it, or make modifications to fit what it is your church is looking for. Make you initial payment. After making a 50% payment of the total payment for the custom design, as well as the set up fee, we will proceed to the next Step Two: Complete the church design questionnaire form. What is it exactly that you want this site to be for? How would you like it to be designed? These are just a couple examples of the questions on the questionnaire. After receiving your questionnaire, then we will be able to proceed onwards with the first draft of the site. After doing so, we will send the design (i.e. template, sidebar design, content) to you for your approval, as well as feedback or even criticisms if necessary. Once you are happy with the design, we will then integrate it into the Content Management System, so that your content can be uploaded onto it. If preferred, content from your old site may be inputted as well to give old users the same content and feel of the site. Step Three: After we've worked together to finalize the site and customized it to your 100% approval, the second payment of the remaining 50% will be paid. Sign up for the recurring monthly / annual fee and your site will go live. Question: How long does each step take? Answer: Step one: Matter of minutes Step Two: Questionnaire: 30 Minutes First Site Draft/ First Design - three days to a week. Review and modification to design - 1 day to 3 days. Integration into content Management System 3days to a week Adding of existing content from old site (Optional) Varies depending on the size of the site or content. Answer: We handle most of the graphics work with our own pictures. This is because the graphics need to be a certain quality in order to show well on the websites. However, if you have some pictures that need to be on the site (i.e. Church Logo, picture of Pastor) please send us the best quality pictures you have. If we feel that the quality is not good we will contact you and advise you to obtain better resolution pictures. Read More ...
